Paul McGrath Design And Photography

"To design is to communicate clearly by whatever means you can control"
-Milton Glaser

Hello!

Welcome to paulmcgrath.ca, the online portfolio of Paul McGrath.

I am a 21 year old SDVA Graduate of Web Animation and Design at Georgian College in Barrie, Ontario. Whether you're a photo enthusiast, enjoy skillfully drawn computer art, or are looking for a new or updated website, you've surely come to the right place.

This website features pictures from individual portrait sessions, a professional shoot with model Anastasia Andranov, as well as unique behind the scenes look of a shoot featuring Ms. Andranov. Every photo has been selected painstakingly from each collection. My photography started as a hobby, but I am willing to learn from any experience I can.

All of the artwork is a result of years of self-teaching. What started off as a hobby six years ago, has transformed into much more. I have learned many new techniques from creating new things or adding a new twist to classic pieces. paulmcgrath.ca is a perfect example of my talents, and I also showcase my web coding and design skills in other website's such as cynthiaweber.com

Hopefully you enjoy what you see, and find what you've been searching for here. Always open to comments, and looking for new clients and projects, visit the contact page, and drop me a line if you have any questions, or are interested in working with me. Thanks for dropping by and enjoy your visit!

What Others Are Saying About Me...

To whom it may concern;

As the outgoing president of the Georgian College Foodlocker, a non profit group providing food for hungry students on campus, I would like to recognize the outstanding efforts of Paul McGrath, our web technician who has been providing his services to the group for over a year. His work for the Foodlocker involved developing, designing and implementing a website for the club among other duties. The site has a form that Paul and his team programmed, and Paul himself took photographs for the background design for the site. Paul was always prompt and organized with is tasks and worked well without the need of guidance. His skills which span from programming to a creative flair added to his invaluable skills.

Paul is a hard worker and a team player. Besides his work on the website, he has regular attendance at foodlocker meetings and lends his help with any fundraising events the group hosts. He is also the on call photographer for events and news articles and he has designed promotional posters for community events. Paul is also a reliable member of the club who regularly helps fill food orders and collect and sort food.

In short, Paul has a great work ethic, is independent, self motivated and creative. His skills would be an asset to any organization.

To whom it may concern, I am pleased to be able to write a letter of reference for Paul McGrath.

I am an interior decorator and I had recently set up a website to promote my services. I have a very basic knowledge of computers and relied heavily on the person designing my site for guidance. After the site was completed it was brought to my attention that it had been very badly set up. Paul offered to look at it and made the suggestion that he could re-design and improve the site to better serve my needs.

He communicated his ideas very clearly and was patient and understanding of my limited experience and knowledge of the technology. In a timely manner he had the new site up and running and the improvements he made were immediately apparent. Paul was also very helpful in explaining the many ways I can use the site to further develop my business and reach a larger market. I look forward to working with Paul in the future. It is for these reasons that I feel confidant that he will be a productive and valued asset to any company that hires him.

With warm regards, Cynthia Weber
